🍕 Beyond The Plain Pie

Royal Pizza puts the New York slice at the center of a South Shore stop on Staten Island. Grandma and Trio pies sit alongside vodka chicken rolls, giving you a few directions for an order before you even reach the specialty toppings. The cozy pizzeria is at 1757 Arthur Kill Rd, 5, with a menu that moves between familiar slices and whole pies.

Thin crust shares space with deep dish made with a soft dough texture. Meatballs, Alfredo, Marsala, BBQ, fresh chopped mozzarella and tomatoes take the toppings beyond a plain pie. Popular slices can sell out quickly, and a particular flavor may mean waiting for a freshly made whole pizza.

For a midday stop or an evening order, the doors are open daily from 11 AM, closing at 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11 PM Friday and Saturday.
