Description
South Mission Beach marks the southern reach of the Golden Strand, which runs from Pacific Beach Point down to the Mission Bay channel. A popular destination for basketball, it holds the only oceanfront area dedicated to playing "Over-The-Line". In the eastern portion of the parking lot, the cement boardwalk running the length of the strand reaches its southern terminus.
