Description

Founded by local stakeholders Joe and Celia Ward-Wallace, the space stands as a Black- and family-owned hub created to challenge racial, economic, and food disparities in South Central. It operates at the intersection of activism, social good, and entrepreneurship, pairing everyday coffee service with affordable, quality meals designed to serve a historically overlooked neighborhood. Beyond the counter, it functions as a gathering ground where local Black and Brown residents can connect, build community capacity, and celebrate local history and culture.
