Soup Dumplings Meet Golden Scallion Pancakes in Chinatown
Share three or four dishes for two at this bustling Bayard Street dining room.
🥟 Numbers One And Two
Deluxe Green Bo is a Chinatown staple at 66 Bayard Street, with a menu built around Shanghai cooking and a bustling dining room. Tight seating and fluorescent lights set the scene in a room that moves at the pace of a crowded train station. The menu puts soup dumplings right at the top as items one and two. Deep fried scallion pancakes, ginger cucumber and spicy wontons fill out the table.
Three or four dishes can feed two people here, leaving room to build a shared order across the menu rather than settle on a single plate. Tea is included with the meal, and payment is cash or Venmo only. Staff keep service moving quickly through the packed tables.
The doors open at 11 AM daily, with closing at 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and half past ten PM on Friday and Saturday.
