Soulard's Bar Crawl on Wheels, With Your Own Cooler Aboard

Two hours on a private 14-seat pedal bar in Soulard: your cooler, your playlist, and stops at the bars your group picks.

The operator calls this ride its bar crawl on wheels, and the bar does come along. The Cycle Saloon is a roofed pedal bike that seats 14, and this booking takes the whole bike for two hours, so everyone aboard is your group.

A certified driver steers, and pedal-assist motors give the group a push when legs get tired. The ride starts in front of Big Daddy's on Sidney Street in Soulard.

The price is for the bike, not per rider. As of October 15, 2026, the listing quotes USD 399 for up to 14 people.

Bring the Cooler, Leave the Glass and the Liquor

Nothing to drink comes with the ride. The listing excludes alcohol and snacks, and the operator's answer is BYOB: its homepage says to bring coolers full of beverages of your choice, plus food if you want it. The Trolley Pub St. Louis rules it now rides under go further: no glass and no liquor, even if the bottle never leaves the ice chest. Pack beer and soda in cans or plastic.

Your own alcohol stays on the bike the whole time, so none of it goes into a bar or onto the sidewalk, and anyone who shows up drunk is not let on board. For food, the FAQ says to keep it simple: snacks or a sub, not a meal. Music runs through the bike's Bluetooth stereo, from your own playlist or one the driver supplies. Cigarettes are not allowed aboard; electronic ones are fine on private rides. The listing's inclusions are short: the certified driver, the bike itself and, on request, a high five.

The Brewery, the Market, Then the Bars You Choose

The listing names two landmarks on the way. The bike rolls past the Anheuser-Busch brewery without stopping, and the listing sets aside ten minutes at Soulard Market for anyone who wants to hop off and look around.

Beyond that, the stops are up to the group. The operator says the driver will go wherever you want, as long as it is inside its approved area. Its route page lists the Soulard bars the bike passes, from Molly's and D's Place to Big Daddy's itself. The Trolley Pub FAQ says the driver suggests stops at the start of the ride, and that most groups pick two and stay about fifteen to twenty minutes at each.

Which Departure Finds Soulard Market Open

As of October 15, 2026, the booking calendar shows rides at 4:00 PM and 6:15 PM on Fridays, and at 11:30 AM, 1:45 PM, 4:00 PM and 6:15 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no rides Monday through Thursday, and dates are open through December 27.

The market keeps its own hours. The city's market page lists Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the full roster of vendors only on Saturday, and the market closed on Sunday apart from one produce stand. A 6:15 PM ride or any Sunday departure passes closed stalls; a group that wants the market at its fullest needs a Saturday slot at 11:30 AM or 1:45 PM.

Before You Book

Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund; inside 24 hours, nothing is refunded. Every rider fills out a liability waiver.

The Trolley Pub St. Louis FAQ sets a minimum age of 15 on private rides and a weight limit of 275 pounds per rider. The listing itself accepts any age, so check the group against those two numbers before booking. Riders under 21 can come along but cannot drink. The same FAQ says six people pedaling are needed to power the bike. The listing still sells the bike to smaller groups, and neither the listing nor the FAQ says what happens below six, so a party of fewer than six should ask the operator before the 24-hour window closes.

The bike has a roof and the operator rides rain or shine. Its FAQ names lightning, hail or a tornado threat as the conditions that change the plan. The listing marks the ride suitable for all physical fitness levels.

📍 The bike pulls up in front of Big Daddy's, 1000 Sidney Street in Soulard, and the listing suggests heading inside to look around while you wait. The listing gives the same curb as the end point. The FAQ says a ride can run longer if the schedule, the host and the weather allow, arranged with the host along the way at extra cost. Wear shoes you can pedal in.
