Someone Else Picks the Three Wineries and Does the Driving

Grapeline books the tastings, packs the lunch and drives the back roads. Which three cellars you end up at is the operator's call.

Plan a wine day with a picnic and a driver.

A wine tour sells two things at once. One is the pour. The other is the part nobody wants to organise: the reservations, the route, and a driver who stays sober through five hours of tasting rooms.

This day covers tasting fees at three wineries, a deli-style picnic lunch and the transport, all inside one price. Grapeline makes the winery bookings itself. What it keeps is the choice of which cellars you see.

Departures run at 10am and the day is scheduled to last five hours, ending back where it started. Booking closes four hours before pickup.

A Family Cellar, a Big Estate, and Lunch in Between

The three stops are not interchangeable, and the listing gives each one a different length. The first runs two hours and is where the picnic lunch is served. The second is a smaller family-run cellar at ninety minutes. The third is a medium to large estate, ninety minutes again.

The listing offers winery names as examples and says the stops vary, so your three are not fixed at booking.

For the lunch stop it names Thacher, Shale Oak, Croad, Graveyard and Oso Libre. For the family stop, Steinbeck, Whalebone, J Dusi and Zenaida. For the larger estate, Jada, Villa San Juliette, Eberle, Tobin James, McPrice Myers and Castoro.

The Tasting Fees and the Lunch Are Already Paid

Tasting fees at all three wineries sit inside the ticket. So does a deli-style picnic lunch with seven options to choose from, and bottled water.

Gratuities are the one item the listing puts outside the price.

The vehicle is described as a deluxe touring vehicle with a driver who also hosts, and the winery reservations are handled by the operator.

The Day You Choose Sets What You Pay

The price moves with the day of the week. Checking the live booking calendar for two adults returns USD 169 each on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, USD 179 on Monday, USD 189 on Friday and Sunday, and USD 199 on Saturday.

Tuesday through Thursday is the cheapest seat, thirty dollars under Saturday.

There is one departure a day, at 10am. The calendar also closes some dates outright, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday and the Fourth of July.

Who Can Actually Get a Seat

This is an adults-only day. The tour is sold to travellers 21 and over, and the operator repeats a 21-year minimum drinking age in its redemption notes.

The booking engine also sets your party size. A request for a single traveller is rejected outright; two is the floor and eight the ceiling on one booking. A departure can be cancelled if too few travellers book it.

Service animals are allowed. The listing marks the day as suitable for all fitness levels and does not recommend it for pregnant travellers.

📍 Pickup is in front of Hotel Cheval on Pine Street in Paso Robles, at the yellow curb. Guests who are not staying there can park near Downtown City Park.

Hotel pickup from Paso Robles and Atascadero properties is included, and the operator treats pickup times as approximate, confirmed closer to the date. If your hotel or rental is not on its list, you give the address at booking and the operator confirms it or suggests somewhere else.

Cancel at least twenty-four hours ahead for a full refund; inside that window nothing comes back. Booking closes four hours before the 10am departure, which leaves room to decide over breakfast the morning before.

Five hours later you are back on Pine Street, and somebody else has done the driving.
