Skate Bryant Park's Rink for Free With Your Own Skates
Skate free with your own blades at Winter Village, or rent from 18.72 dollars and time your visit for quieter, cheaper hours.
⛸️ Cheap Skate, Better Timing
Bank of America Winter Village opens its rink at Bryant Park on October 28, and the ice stays free for anyone who brings their own skates. Free Bring Your Own Skates reservations open about a week ahead, with one time slot per skater each day.
Rentals run from 18.72 to 64.48 dollars with fees included, and the park says off-peak visits cost less. A Bank of America card takes 10 percent off rentals booked online. Helmets and shoe check are free, bag check costs extra, and a Skate Aid is free before 10:30 AM when available, which makes an early skate the gentlest budget date.
Regular sessions give you 50 minutes on the ice, starting about 20 minutes after your ticket time, and the first session of the day runs longer. The rink is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, stretching to midnight from November 19 to January 3, when the holiday crowds peak. With your own skates, the whole date can cost little more than a slice and a pastry nearby.
