SIX Gives Henry VIII's Queens the Mic
A fast, funny Broadway remix that favors pop craft and theatrical finery over historical depth.
The story starts as a contest
Henry VIII's six wives meet on a concert stage to decide who had the worst marriage. The rules are easy to follow: each queen gets one song to argue her case, with an all-female band behind her. The old rhyme supplies the names; the solos give them six very different voices.
The solos keep changing style
One queen gets a defiant anthem, another a power ballad; a club beat arrives later. Gabriella Slade's costumes follow the music: Tudor silhouettes become jewel-bright pop-star armor. The finale's group resolution is lighter than the solo showcases; those one-by-one introductions are the show's sharpest idea.
It plays like one concert set
With no intermission, SIX moves through its songs and jokes without a second-act reset. It is still a loud night: amplified sound and concert lighting are part of the package. Children under 5 are not admitted. Sound-sensitive theatergoers should factor in the volume before booking.

Choose the ticket route
Each ticket route has a different gate:
- Regular tickets: use the official ticket page when the exact date and section matter.
- Student Rush: $35 in person when the box office opens on performance day. At least six are offered per performance; bring valid student ID. Sales are first come, first served, with a limit of two per person.
- Digital lottery: $45; enter from 9am to 6pm the day before. One entry is allowed per person, and winners may buy up to two tickets.
- Groups: parties of 4-8 can check QUEENPACK for savings up to 40%; groups of 10 or more use group sales.
Inventory and terms can change, so confirm them before paying.
Stay on the block
Use the curtain time to pick a nearby stop:
- 🍽 Tight pre-show window: Glass House Tavern is next door.
- 🍝 More time for dinner: Joe Allen is one block south on Restaurant Row.
- 🎹 After the show: The Rum House stays open late with cocktails and live piano or jazz. It is 21+; reservations run Wednesday through Saturday, with walk-ins Sunday through Tuesday.
