Six wives, six microphones, 80 minutes. Each queen gets one song to retell her marriage her own way.

Book the Nov 8, 2 PM performance.

🎤 The main event

🎙️ Six Wives, Six Solo Turns

SIX runs 80 minutes with no intermission, and it plays as a concert rather than a history lesson: six queens come out as a pop group, one microphone each, and every one of them gets the last word on the marriage that history flattened into a single line. The score won the 2022 Tony for Best Original Score, and tickets are on sale through January 3, 2027.

👑 A Gig, Not a Costume Drama

The show hangs on the line most people learned in school, divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived, then spends the rest of the night answering it, number by number, in a different pop idiom each time. Sequins, a lit stage and a room that behaves more like a gig than a Sunday matinee. The history is only the setup.

🎟️ Two Shows, Three Ways In

November 8 has a 2 PM and a 7 PM performance. Seats run from $59 to $372 by location. The three cheap routes are separate ticket types, not upgrades: a $45 digital lottery (opens 9 AM, closes 6 PM the day before; one entry per person, two tickets per winner), $35 student rush at the box office on the day (at least six per performance; two per person with a student ID), and $49 standing room, sold only after a performance sells out, and only while places remain. Recommended for ages 10 and up, and children under 5 are not admitted. The C and E at 50 St are a six-minute walk; the N, R and W at 49 St about seven. The box office runs noon to 6 PM on Sundays.
