Six Haygood Siblings Play More Than 20 Instruments in Branson

Six siblings rotate through more than twenty instruments in a two-hour Branson stage show built on aerial rigs, lasers and fire.

Catch the Haygood siblings at Clay Cooper Theatre.

Branson's 76 Country Blvd runs a dense strip of theatres, and the Clay Cooper Theatre sits on it near the Hollywood Wax Museum and across from the Titanic Museum. The Haygoods are six siblings from one family, and the whole two-hour show rests on that fact. Five brothers and one sister split the singing, the playing and the choreography among themselves, with no guest headliner brought in to carry a segment.

The family moved to Branson in 1993 and started out performing at Silver Dollar City, the theme park south-west of town. They now hold a resident slot in a room that runs four other shows alongside theirs.

Performances run at the Clay Cooper Theatre at 3216 W 76 Country Blvd. The listing below books a single admission and confirms instantly. Showtimes shift with the season, and the date picker on the booking page carries the live calendar rather than a fixed nightly time.

What Six Siblings Cover in Two Hours

The count the family advertises is more than twenty instruments, and the swaps happen inside songs rather than between them. A banjo, a fiddle and a steel-bodied guitar turn up alongside the drums and bass that hold the set together. The song list runs from the 1960s through current radio, arranged for the players who are actually on stage rather than copied from the records.

The running time is fixed at 120 minutes. That is one continuous programme rather than a headliner with an opening act, and the six of them are on stage for nearly all of it.

The Rigging, the Lasers and the Fire

The production leans hard on hardware. A guitarist plays while hanging upside down from a wire above the stage, flame jets fire in a row behind the band, and laser fans cut through the haze over the front rows. Projection covers the back wall, and the costumes carry LED arrays that read as the main light source in several numbers.

The family rebuilds the programme each year, and the effects list moves with it: the current season adds drone elements and holograms to the lighting, laser and fire rig that carries the rest of the set.

Seats, Arrival and Access

The theatre asks for arrival forty-five to sixty minutes before showtime to clear the line at the door. The venue and its transport options are listed as wheelchair accessible, and wheelchair assistance has to be flagged at booking rather than on arrival. Infants ride on an adult's lap, and a pram or stroller is allowed in the room.

The listing marks the show suitable for all physical fitness levels, and public transport options run nearby. Ticketing is split into three age bands: infant to age three, child from four to twelve, and adult from thirteen up.

Booking Terms and the Four-Hour Cutoff

Confirmation is instant, and the ticket is issued one per booking, accepted on a phone or on paper. Bookings close four hours ahead of the start time, which puts an evening seat out of reach by mid-afternoon on the same day. A single booking covers up to fifteen travellers and needs at least one adult on it.

Cancellation is free up to twenty-four hours before the scheduled start, with no refund after that point. A meet-and-greet with the performers is listed as included after the show. Taxes, fees and handling charges already sit inside the listed price.
