Description

Spanning more than an acre on the Aria Denver grounds, the farm revives an orchard cared for since 1938 by the Sisters of St. Francis. The land is shaped into a regenerative terraced system designed to curb erosion and capture runoff nutrients, with three of the five lower terraces dedicated to BIPOC foodways.

Around the plots, medicinal and insectary perennials grow alongside annual crops, a half-dozen berry bushes, and 15 fruit trees—including the Chinese apricot and cherry trees encircling the Reese Grant-Cobb Memorial meditation labyrinth.
