The Palmetto Bay location connects back to a Midwestern lineage starting in 1957, when Wendell Swartz launched the original Pizza King in Lafayette, Indiana. The brand branched beyond state lines under the Sir Pizza banner in 1966, eventually landing in Palmetto Bay in 2009.
