Description

Set south of the developed areas of Silver Strand State Beach, the preserve covers 1.5 miles of ocean beach and natural habitat along the sandy spit, bordered by both ocean and bay shorelines. Strolling the strand brings encounters with marine finds scattered across the sand, including moon snail shells, cockle shells, and occasional sand dollars.
