Signal Hill (Canton, Massachusetts)
4.6 (21)park
A quiet reservation pairing an easy climb to Boston skyline views with paddling access along the Neponset River.
Description

Tucked at the far end of an industrial park, the 150-acre reservation splits into two straightforward routes. A former cart path climbs to the 188-foot summit for clear views across to Great Blue Hill. Below, a level trail leads to the water's edge, while overhead, hawks riding thermal drafts draw birders along the valley corridor. The ground itself holds deeper roots, having served as a seasonal home for Indigenous people who settled the river valley as the last glaciers retreated.
