Shingle Creek Regional Park - Steffee Landing - The Paddling Center

Tucked inside Kissimmee, the park preserves a pocket of what Central Florida looked like before commercial attractions arrived. Beyond kayak and canoe rentals that launch onto tree-shaded waterways, the grounds feature paths lined with interpretive signs sharing local history alongside preserved pioneer buildings. Wildlife sightings along the creek banks and forest include deer, wild turkeys, and herons, as well as turtles and alligators. The routes remain easy for all age and ability groups, winding through lush greenery along the water.
