Description

Originally opened by former mayor George Sheldon as one of the city’s first full-service gas stations, the landmark site spent decades evolving through different roles alongside La Mesa. Today, the space operates as a neighborhood gathering point where the menu extends into lunch, pairing daily soups and made-to-order sandwiches with tea, beer, and wine. Morning fare runs parallel, turning out hearty staples such as breakfast burritos.
