Description

Set near the northern edge of the Pūpūkea Marine Life Conservation District on O‘ahu, the cove reaches depths of up to 20 feet at its mouth before the seabed outside slopes to roughly 45 feet. Rocky terrain edges a tidepool zone used for reef walking, while divers navigate underwater caves around the northwest point or head out for night diving. The setting shifts dramatically with the calendar: waters remain generally calm from May through October, but winter brings extremely dangerous currents and high waves.
