Shaking the Tree Theatre
4.8 (22)theater
4.8 (22)A Portland warehouse theater staging immersive, boundary-pushing plays that pull audiences right into the work.
Description
Since 2003, the company has carved out its space in Portland by challenging enshrined notions about what theater can or should be. Guided by Van Der Merwe, the staging leans toward strange, bold work that refuses to let anyone off the hook, dropping audiences straight into uncompromising productions without a safety net.
