Shake Three Gin Cocktails Inside Treasure Island's Old Pan Am Terminal

Eighty minutes at Gold Bar Distillery on Treasure Island: you taste four of its gins, then shake and stir a Bee's Knees, a BayFC Poppy and a Martinez with the city skyline across the water.

Gold Bar Distillery makes whiskey and Pacific House Gin on Treasure Island. Its tasting room sits inside the former Pan Am airport terminal, a 1930s Art Deco building, and this class runs there, with views of the Bay and the San Francisco skyline.

Every gin you pour is the distillery's own Pacific House Gin, which the listing calls the official gin of Bay FC. The class is pitched at beginners, and at people who don't usually order gin.

One ticket covers the full 80-minute class: a tasting of four gins and the three cocktails you make. As of November 5, 2026, Viator lists weekday classes at $85.81 per person and Sunday classes at $96.68. Gratuities and private transportation are not included.

A Bee's Knees, a BayFC Poppy and a Martinez

The three drinks are set in advance. Each one is full size, and you shake, stir and garnish all three yourself while the mixologist explains how botanicals shape a gin's flavor and balance.

Gold Bar's own class page fills in the recipes. The Bee's Knees is a Prohibition-era mix of gin, fresh lemon and honey. The Martinez, often called the Martini's predecessor, brings in sweet vermouth, maraschino liqueur and bitters. The BayFC Poppy was created in-house and is served at Bay FC games.

Four Gins First, and a Way Out for Non-Drinkers

The price counts four gins alongside the three cocktails. The listing describes Pacific House Gin as built on bright botanicals and fresh citrus, and Gold Bar's class page says you taste different expressions of it and learn how juniper, citrus and herbs change the flavor.

If you skip alcohol, Gold Bar's own site says it makes mocktail versions with a non-alcoholic gin alternative. Every ticket on this listing is still for ages 21 and up.

Sundays at 5:30, and One Weeknight

This is a shared class of up to 16 guests, and one booking can take up to 15 seats. Bring an ID that shows you are 21 or older, and arrive sober: the listing says the distillery can refuse service to anyone who shows up intoxicated.

As of November 5, 2026, the Viator calendar lists Sunday classes at 5:30 PM and one weekday class, usually at 6 PM: Thursdays through December, then Wednesdays from mid-January. The class is taught in English, and the listing holds a 5.0 rating from 27 reviews. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund.
