Description

Built in 1935 under the Washington Emergency Relief Act to stock Lake Washington, the site originally operated twenty rearing ponds. After production ended in 1978, the University of Washington Department of Fisheries used the grounds as an educational research lab until 1997. Today, the trailside artifacts include five historical ponds, a pumphouse, and a stone bridge over a dry waterfall.
