Description

These contiguous parks scale from the dense, ancient giant sequoia groves of the lower elevations to the raw, high-altitude expanse of the Sierra Nevada. The landscape is defined by the stark contrast between the deep, sheer canyon walls of the Kings River and the jagged, towering granite peaks that anchor the wilderness. It is a terrain of significant verticality where the scale shifts rapidly from the shade of monumental trees to the open, rugged skylines of the mountain range.
