Description

Built in 1887 by Doña Eloisa Martínez de Sepúlveda, the structure originally served as a boarding house, commercial space, and family home. That blended use reflects the multicultural heritage of nineteenth-century Los Angeles, opening a window into the era and the history of El Pueblo de Los Angeles.
