Once a family dairy, this community green space blends native landscaping, garden plots, and an accessible playground.
Description
The park was developed after Portland Parks & Recreation and community leaders tackled possible contamination from an underground fuel storage tank, teaming up with the Portland Brownfields Showcase Program, contractor Pat Brady, schoolchildren, and neighborhood volunteers. The resulting layout incorporates a walking path alongside a grassy lawn with benches and a picnic table.
