See Touring Concerts In A 1915 Civic Center Hall
Touring headliners and festivals fill Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, a 1915 hall in San Francisco's Civic Center.
🎤 The promoter's hall
Bill Graham Civic Auditorium is San Francisco's Civic Center concert hall, a 1915 building renamed in 1992 for the rock promoter who shaped the city's live scene. It now hosts touring headliners, electronic acts, and festival nights on a wide general-admission floor.
The room holds several thousand under a steel-truss ceiling, and light rigs and pyro columns turn the flat floor into a wall of sound and haze when the headliner drops. A balcony rings the hall for seated views above the crowd.
Doors and set times shift with each show, and the hall shares the plaza with City Hall and the main library. Public transit stops steps away, and the surrounding Civic Center fills fast on show nights.
