Security Museum

museum

Vintage bells, early alarms, and 19th-century tech trace the history of modern security at this Lynn showroom.

Description

What began as a small collection of antique alarms in Ralph W. Sevinor’s basement has expanded into an industry fixture housed at Wayne Alarm Systems. The museum and its founder have become a nationwide resource for antique security technology, even assisting with building company museums for the likes of Honeywell and TMA. Visits to the showroom offer a guided look through the trade's technical evolution, with tours instructed directly by the founder.
