Plan a flight and safari day.

🛩️ From Air to Orca Waters

Rainy day cabin fever can be the cue to plan a Washington water escape. Seattle Orca Whale Watching pairs a seaplane journey with a wildlife safari on the Salish Sea. Kenmore Air operates the 45 minute flight to Friday Harbor from Lake Washington. San Juan Safaris then takes over for the water leg.

Captains and marine naturalists unpack the local ecosystem, sustainable whale watching practices, and the different killer whale ecotypes of the region. Guides confer with other vessels to locate wildlife during the excursion. Orcas share the spotlight with harbor seals and bald eagles, adding more species to watch for while exploring these waters.

The day trip package has a morning departure, with the boat tour lasting 3 to 4 hours. Seattle Orca Whale Watching is at 950 Westlake Avenue North in Seattle and opens daily from 8 AM to 6 PM.
