Sculpture Garden
museum
A leafy pocket of 20th-century bronzes and tower views tucked beside the San Diego Museum of Art.
Description

Framed by Spanish Colonial architecture, the May S. Marcy Sculpture Court and Garden serves as an intimate open-air annex to the galleries. Stone and bronze pieces, including works by Alexander Calder, are set amid lush landscaping in a space compact enough to loop in a few minutes. Alongside hosting outdoor exhibitions and gatherings, the garden adjoins the Panama 66 restaurant, looking out across the grounds toward evening sunsets.
