Description

As the Christian to Crescent trail segment, the crossing forms the final link providing an entirely off-road route between Grays Ferry Crescent and trail miles to the north. Built along the east riverbank with two approach spans, the 650-foot bridge features a 25-foot-wide deck with seating areas at each tower. It rises 168 feet above the mean water line, matching the height of Independence Hall's central bell tower while completing a smooth, continuous path along the river.
