The Porter Road spot traces its name to David "Skull" Schulman, proprietor of Skull's Rainbow and originator of Nashville's first true dive bar. Inside, it leans into an honest, come-as-you-are culture framed by a cool retro atmosphere and familiar local staff. Along with straightforward beer and shots, the bar pours unpretentious cocktails seven days a week.
