Schooner America 2.0 Heads for the Key West Sunset
A two-hour sail out of Key West Bight on a modern-built schooner, timed each day to the sunset, with drinks poured and hors d'oeuvres plated on board.
America 2.0 is the modern-built schooner Classic Harbor Line sails out of Key West Bight, and this two-hour trip is its sunset run: one departure a day, timed to the sun, with drinks and individually plated hors d'oeuvres on board.

The booking covers the sail, beer, wine, sparkling wine and soda, and the plated hors d'oeuvres. Gratuities are not included, and the operator says cash tips for the crew are customary. The tour holds 4.9 from 893 reviews.

The booking page lists Mallory Square, Fort Zachary Taylor and Sunset Pier, all seen from the water without stopping, and its description adds Sand Key Light Tower.
The operator's own FAQ is more careful: the captain sets the route by wind and weather, and only a waterside view of Fort Zachary Taylor is a given. Sand Key Reef, Mallory Square, Sunset Pier, marine wildlife and fellow schooners of the Key West fleet are the extras it names.
The operator also says every sail carries a captain and at least two crew, and calls America 2.0 a very steady boat on which seasickness is rare.
What Gets Poured, and What Stays Ashore

Beer, wine, sparkling wine and soda are served alongside individually plated hors d'oeuvres, and you must be 21 to drink. The operator's FAQ says it cannot change its menus for allergies or dietary restrictions and encourages anyone affected to bring extra snacks aboard.
Two upgrade options add a bottle, white wine or champagne, plus souvenir glassware. Both need at least two tickets, and their descriptions list light snacks rather than plated hors d'oeuvres.
Do not pack your own bottle: the operator's FAQ says bringing your own alcohol aboard is illegal.
One Sail a Day, Set by the Sun
There is one departure a day, and its time moves with the sunset.
As of October 13, 2026, the booking calendar opens on November 1 and runs into late May, with the sail at 4:00 PM in November, 6:00 PM in late March and 6:30 PM in late May. Dates checked in October and June had nothing to book. Around Christmas and New Year the regular option gives way to holiday options at higher rates.
One booking takes up to fifteen travelers. Every passenger needs a ticket, infants included, and the booking page prices infants under 2, children 2 to 12 and everyone 13 and older separately.
Below Deck, and Who Can Board
Two marine heads sit below deck, down a short flight of stairs, and stay open throughout the sail; there is also below-deck space to stow bags, which the operator notes is unguarded. Bring a light jacket: the listing and the operator's FAQ both say it can often be cooler on the water.
The listing ticks stroller access, service animals and all fitness levels. The operator's FAQ and accessibility page are narrower: America 2.0 is not ADA-accessible, guests who can climb a few stairs can be helped aboard, and guests who cannot walk even with assistance cannot be accommodated. The operator asks to hear in advance so it can schedule a pre-boarding. Service animals that perform a task for a person can board without prior approval; pets and emotional support animals need management's approval first. Neither page mentions strollers.
The sail usually runs in light rain, and the captain can call it off for unsafe weather up to an hour before departure. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund on this booking; the operator's own terms for direct bookings differ.
📍 Check in at the ticket booth at 202 William Street, at the end of William Street near Greene Street, dockside in front of Schooner Wharf Bar.
Arrive 30 to 45 minutes early with a photo ID that matches the name on the booking: boarding passes are handed out at check-in, boarding starts 10 to 15 minutes before departure, and the boat leaves on time.
Parking around the Historic Key West Bight is very limited; the operator points to the municipal lot at Caroline and Margaret streets. The sail ends where it began, at Schooner Wharf, two hours later.
