At the Aburi Girls Boarding School, the promise of becoming Miss Ghana 1986 represents a golden ticket to fame and prosperity. For Paulina, the school’s unchallenged queen bee, the arrival of a pageant recruiter is the catalyst to demonstrate her status. However, the equilibrium of the student body shifts dramatically when an American transfer student enters the mix. What begins as a calculated bid for the crown quickly spirals, as the newcomer transforms a standard competition into a far more personal gear, forcing the girls to navigate intense academic and social rivalries.
