Description

Gifted through an early 20th-century land donation by the Schmitz family, this 53.1-acre park in West Seattle pairs massive Douglas firs and Western red cedars with bigleaf maples. Together, the trees create a secluded wilderness escape right in the urban environment, maintaining an intact expanse of woods within city limits.
