Pier 57’s 6D simulator sends riders hunting for Bigfoot with motion seats, log flume drops, and airborne scrambles.
Description
An animatronic Bigfoot sizes up riders at the entrance before a self-driving expedition vehicle carries each party into the wilderness. Created alongside Super 78, Kraftwerk, and VR Coaster, the 10-to-16-minute course routes through a lost mine and sweeps under a helicopter. The simulation relies on atmospheric effects and physical feedback throughout, incorporating full-body vibration, strobe lighting, fog, and sudden stops.
