Description
The path winds through canyon scenery toward the Santa Carina Overlook, also known as Tern Point Overlook, along a quiet stretch of the San Elijo trail network. Hikers can connect to the Central Basin by heading underneath Interstate 5 and using the suspension bridge. Along Santa Inez, the route passes the native plant nursery where school groups occasionally gather to plant seeds, with peaceful wildlife appearing along the way.
