Description

Spread along Oahu's southeastern coast, the golden shore faces rough, churning water that makes it hazardous for inexperienced swimmers. While experienced bodysurfers and boogie boarders tackle the waves under the watch of on-duty lifeguards, plenty of visitors stay dry by design. Just beyond the sand, an expansive grassy park area with picnic tables, restrooms, and visiting shaved ice trucks provides room to spread out and enjoy the ocean views.
