Description

Established in 1852 just north of downtown San Antonio, the grounds are recognized as the second-oldest park in the States. Beyond the central basin, water winds through shallow stone-lined creeks that cut across expansive lawns, quiet nooks, and shaded trails.

Recreational facilities include tennis courts, a playground, and a skate park, providing plenty of room to roam, though visitor feedback on the upkeep of individual amenities is occasionally mixed.
