Description

Set in the northwest corner of campus, the rolling hills function as a living laboratory dedicated to southern California's indigenous ecosystems. Across the slopes, critical habitats support dozens of native plant species, mammals, and butterflies alongside resident and migratory birds. The protected site also operates as an academic hub, anchoring student involvement, education, and multidisciplinary research directly in the landscape.
