Rutherford Sayre Park

Spanning nearly 14 acres near Chicago’s border with Elmwood Park, the grounds balance busy athletic amenities with quieter open lawns. Outdoor setups include baseball and softball diamonds, a combined football-soccer field, two tennis courts, and an ADA soft-surface playground with spray pool alongside passive recreation spaces.

Indoors, the fieldhouse holds a gymnasium, kitchen, and fitness space. Scheduled programming runs wide across age groups, covering everything from toddler playgroups and summer day camps to ceramics, watercolor painting, and Olympic weightlifting, with nature activities anchored around an on-site community garden.
