Description

Founded in 1996 in Houston’s Fourth Ward, the organization works to preserve the area's remaining residential landmarks, including the 1912 Rutherford B.H. Yates home. Onsite displays bring together recovered archaeological artifacts, an early African-American printing press, and a Black inventors exhibit.
