Rubber Chicken Museum
4.7 (14)museum
Set inside Archie McPhee, this Seattle oddity pairs the world’s largest rubber chicken with deadpan poultry scholarship.
Description

Open since 2018, the installation showcases plastic poultry alongside the world’s smallest rubber chicken and a photo spot next to its giant counterpart. The intellectual framing arrives via a scholarly essay by rubber chicken expert Kirk Demarais exploring historical context and why the gag endures. Exhibits also feature a rotating display of novelties drawn from shop owner Mark Pahlow’s private collection.
