Rowing at a Student Founded Boathouse Spans Generations
Crew training connects youth and adult masters through competitive and recreational programs at an Orlando nonprofit.
🚣 A Club Started by Students
Give your late afternoon a rowing focus at Lake Brantley Rowing, a community organization training crews on the water. Students from Lake Brantley High School founded the club in 1988. It operates from the John McLain LBRA Legacy Boathouse in Orlando.
Programs span elementary, middle school and high school athletes, as well as adult masters. The training includes competitive and recreational crews, with scholastic lineups preparing for local, state and national competition. That range gives a school age rower and an adult athlete different reasons to explore the same sport.
The organization runs as a self supporting nonprofit with 501c3 status at 4217 North Orange Blossom Trail. Head to the club website for registration, or call 407 349 7885 to ask about participation before adding a session to your calendar. Ask the club directly which crew is appropriate for you before making plans to join.
