Rotating Craft Taps and a Backyard Garden in Brooklyn

Beer poured from the tap or carried home by the bottle, with pretzels, toasted sandwiches, and a patio out back.

🍺 Beer to Stay or Go

Sixteen rotating taps lead the drink list at Covenhoven, and the refrigerators hold cans and bottles to drink at the bar or carry home. It runs as a bottle shop and a bar at once, set on Classon Avenue in Brooklyn.

Food stays small and comforting, with pretzels, toasted sandwiches, and grilled cheese alongside the beer. Out back, the patio feels like hanging out in the backyard of a friend, and after dark the room inside turns moody and dimly lit.

Tuesday trivia anchors the week, and the calendar also brings mural art openings and tastings with local brewers, a steady reason to check back as the tap list rotates.

Doors open at 2 PM Monday through Friday and at noon on Saturday and Sunday. Closing comes at midnight Sunday through Thursday, while the taps keep pouring until 1 AM on Friday and Saturday, the latest stretch of the week for a patio pint or a last bottle to go.
