It runs two hours on Saturdays at noon, for adults 21 and up. You eat what you made before you leave.

Tickets are USD 75 per person, and the calendar shows a noon class on Saturdays through mid-January, with November 21 not offered. All ingredients and cooking tools are included. Classpop's own calendar opens each date with 25 seats, so expect to cook alongside other people.

The Dough Comes First

The class runs in order. You make the dough first and knead, roll and cut it yourself, then the room moves on to the sauce. Chef Roger's tips cover kneading, building a sauce and balancing flavor, the parts that carry over to a weeknight at home. The class is pitched at beginners.

Marinara, Chicken and a Menu That Can Shift

The herb marinara goes with seasoned chicken and fresh vegetables to make a full plate. Classpop's own page for this Chef Roger class says the menu can change from session to session, and its sample menu is built around ravioli with a tomato basil sauce. Mention dietary needs when you book; the kitchen will try to adjust, though recipes cannot be changed during class.

Who Teaches It

Classpop's chef page describes Chef Roger as a certified executive chef with more than 28 years in restaurants, hotels, clubs and college dining, and a culinary degree from the Art Institute of Houston. The class works as a solo plan, a date or a night out with a group.
