NoMad Bookstore Pairs Art Books With Chandeliers and Dark Wood

Browse architecture, fashion, and cookery titles, then find the Italian section and international magazines.

Leave room in your bag for a book.

✨ A Room for Turning Pages

Look up before you start scanning the shelves at Rizzoli Bookstore. Chandeliers hang above dark wood bookcases, high ceilings stretch overhead, and red framed glass doors mark the entrance to this NoMad bookseller. There is plenty to pull your attention from one shelf to the next, whether you arrive with a subject in mind or simply want to browse.

The selection spans architecture, interior design, fashion, photography, and cookery alongside the fine and applied arts. Start with a subject you already love, then let an unfamiliar spine pull you sideways. Literature, fiction, foreign language books, and international magazines broaden the mix beyond illustrated volumes. An Italian section adds another direction to explore.

Rizzoli has been part of New York bookselling from 1964 onward. Its home at 1133 Broadway also carries local publications and souvenirs near the front. Browse Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM, or Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM. Leave a little room in your bag.
