Description
Founded by Guglielmo Ranauro, the restaurant was named after his mother, Francesca, honoring the food she made while he grew up just across the street. After five decades running the North End landmark, Ranauro stepped down and entrusted the establishment to long-time manager and protégé Tomas Salmeron, who pledged to carry forward the house’s Italian cuisine and service.
