Rinconcito de Esperanza
4.9 (32)museum
Three historic Westside buildings anchor this cultural hub of community arts, oral history, and street photo exhibits.
Description

The compound grew around the acquisition of Casa de Cuentos in 2002 and the adjacent Ruben’s Ice House in 2007, alongside a small back casita. The structures were adapted using green building practices, expanding indoor meeting space and adding a wrap-around porch to shade outdoor events. Its public programming centers on neighborhood memory, featuring the En Aquellos Tiempos oral history gatherings and Fotohistorias del Westside, a street museum created from historic photographs donated by the community.
