Two Named Obstacles, Both Optional

The operator's own West Rim page sets the ride on Sand Hollow's most scenic slickrock and names two of its choose-your-line features, The Funnel and The Steps. Its summary is that the ride is as wild or mild as you make it. Between the obstacles come ridge-line crawling, slickrock ledges and scenic breaks.

This listing prices a seat per person from age five, and it mentions driving one of the Jeeps only as an option that may be available. The operator's footer adds that any tour can change with the cars available, the group's ability, the weather, the pace and the guide.

Seats From Age Five, Boosters Not Included

The booking form's age bands run from five to seventy. The operator's FAQ welcomes kids on ride-along tours as long as they meet Utah car seat laws, and asks families to mention them ahead of time. Children's booster seats are not included in the listing. Pack one for a child who still needs it.

The listing also advises against the ride for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health or pregnancy. Names on the booking are checked against ID at the time of the tour, and only people who signed the waiver beforehand may go.

Golden Hour, Then a Quick Chill

The listing books a date with no departure time attached, and the operator's FAQ says directions and GPS pins are sent after booking. Its West Rim page builds the ride around sunset views, and the listing's own itinerary closes with golden-hour photo stops.

Bring a light jacket. The operator's page says it cools off quickly after sunset. Its FAQ also lists water and snacks, sunscreen and sunglasses, closed-toe shoes and a camera or phone. Bottled water is included in the listing.

Two to Four Hours, and No Maze

The listing allows two to four hours in total, about 90 minutes of it inside Sand Hollow State Park. The operator's own page puts the West Rim ride at two and a half to three hours. Plan around the longer figure.

This listing has a single option, and the cliffside Maze extension on the operator's West Rim page is not in it. The operator describes the Maze as an extra hour of extreme terrain for experienced drivers on 37-inch tires with front and rear lockers.

The listing marks the trip as dependent on the weather and on a minimum number of travelers. The operator's FAQ says that when weather makes a trail unsafe, it reschedules or offers an alternative route. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund.

📍 The listing's meeting point is the parking lot at Grandpa's Pond Park, 350 N 3700 W, Hurricane. Look for the guide beside a Jeep with the Off the Grid 4x4 Tours logo; most also fly its flag. From there, the Jeeps head for Sand Hollow's red rock.
