Ride a Trolley to Three Livermore Valley Wineries and Lunch

Four hours out of downtown Livermore with someone else at the wheel, ending in the same lot where it started.

Plan a trolley day through Livermore Valley wineries.

Livermore Valley sits directly east of the San Francisco Bay. Close enough for an afternoon out, far enough that the drive home is a real consideration on a day built around tasting.

The trolley takes that half off the table. It collects the group in downtown Livermore, runs four hours through three wineries, and returns everyone to the lot it left from. Lunch lands in the middle of the loop, at the second winery.

Two things about this ticket shape the day. Winery tasting fees sit outside the price and are settled at each winery, on the day. The ticket itself covers the ride, bottled water, and lunch.

Lunch is the second thing. It is made to order, which puts the ordering ahead of the trip: phone or email, sandwiches or salads. Mention allergies on the call. The tour holds 4.9 from 40 reviews.

Twenty-two seats, one start point

A single booking can cover up to twenty-two people, and the tour is shared. The group you board with is the group you spend four hours with, which works as well for two people joining strangers as for a party of eight booking together.

Everyone meets at the same start point. There is no hotel pickup and no custom stop along the way. Air conditioning is in the vehicle. Bottled water comes with the ride, and the guide works in English.

Three stops, and what you settle at each

Three wineries across four hours leaves a real sit at each one. Lunch is served at the second. Which three you get depends on the day. The operator reserves the right to change the route and the order of the stops, so no single winery is guaranteed.

The tasting fees are not in the ticket. Each winery takes its own, at the counter. Alcoholic beverages sit outside the ticket as well. What the price has covered by the time you step off is the ride, the water, and the plate at the second stop.

Who can board

This one is adults only, and the check runs at the door. Bring photo ID; the driver looks at it at check-in, along with the confirmation email carrying your booking ID.

  • Ages twenty-one and over
  • Wheelchair access has to be arranged with the operator ahead of time. One trolley in the fleet is equipped for it, and the operator says availability can be limited

  • It is not recommended for pregnant travelers

Booking windows and weather

Confirmation is instant. The cutoff is nineteen hours before the departure time, which in practice means locking the day in the day before.

  • All sales are final. No refund is available for a cancellation
  • The operator can cancel for bad weather, and can cancel if too few travelers book
  • One ticket per booking
  • Lunch orders go to the operator directly, ahead of the date

The loop starts and ends in the same downtown Livermore parking lot, behind Sauced Restaurant and next to the Bankhead Theatre. 📍 40 S Livermore Ave.

That detail matters more at the end than at the beginning. You step off where you left the car, in the middle of downtown, with the rest of the afternoon still in front of you.
