The High Roller rises 550 feet above The LINQ Promenade, a short walk off the Las Vegas Strip, and opened in 2014 as the tallest observation wheel of its kind. Twenty-eight enclosed glass cabins circle the rim, each holding up to 40 riders.
One full rotation takes about thirty minutes, long enough to trace the neon corridor from Mandalay Bay to the downtown lights as the cabin climbs. Daytime turns reach the desert mountains beyond the city, while after dark the Strip resorts glow below.
A designated Happy Half Hour cabin runs an open bar with a bartender on board, and boarding sits steps from the shops and restaurants of the promenade.
