Riddim Section Presents: Carla Cook

Carla Cook is a Grammy-nominated vocalist whose singing swings, a quality she credits to influences ranging from jazz vocal masters to instrumentalists like Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, and The Crusaders. The Detroit native also draws on R&B, pop, gospel, and country, and her warm contralto range brings a distinct character to her improvisational style.
